Our mission is simple: “Making Life Better.” Through dedicated Community Outreach Programs, we go beyond traditional recreation to create meaningful connections and support vulnerable populations in our community.
These initiatives focus on compassion, inclusion, and service—bringing people together while making a real difference.
Some of our signature programs include:
- Hugs in a Blanket – Providing warmth and comfort during the winter season for Senior Citizens.
- Project Valentine – Goodie bags for adults with special needs
- Some Bunny Special – Delivering Easter joy to children in need
- Letters to Veterans – Cherokee Recreation & Parks will be collecting letters and cards in honor of Veterans Day.
- Santa’s Calling You & Letters from Santa – Creating magical holiday moments for local families
We’re always growing and welcome new volunteers and partners!
