Cherokee Youth Lacrosse (CYL)
The mission of Cherokee Youth Lacrosse is to provide a safe and fun learning environment for recreational players of all abilities that helps develop athletic skills, build character and teach sportsmanship.
Cherokee Youth Lacrosse (CYL) is a recreational youth lacrosse league for players in Cherokee County. CYL seasons take place in the Fall and Spring for participants K – 8th grade. Our focus is on development of lacrosse fundamentals, teamwork, and fun. Come experience the fastest sport on two feet!
We are always in search of volunteer coaches. If you are interested in being a volunteer coach, you will need to register through our website as well. Please see below resource section that will help you with more information about our league. Our League Handbook has a lot of information about how our league is setup and run throughout the season.

2021 SPRING INFORMATION
Registration Dates: November 30, 2020 - January 17, 2021 at 11:59PM
Number of Games: 8 regular season games
Location: Hobgood Park, JJ Biello Riverside Athletic Complex and/or other parks as needed
Game Days: Saturdays & Sundays
Practice Days: TBD (can be any day(s) of the week)
Cost: $225 (8U-14U); $50 (Little LAXers)

Players 8U and above, and all coaches, are required to have a US Lacrosse Membership to participate in CYL. Membership information, along with player and coaching information, can be found at US Lacrosse.
