ARC Lifeguard Training

Notice: This class is Blended Learning. The link to begin the online portion of the class is included on your receipt. The online portion must be started before the first in class session. We recommend logging in as soon as you receive the link. Pre-Requisite Swimming: 300 yard swim (Front Crawl or Breast Stroke)-Not timed, 2 minute treading water-legs only, & Brick tow- timed event where you pick up a 10 lb brick and swim on your back 15 yards with it. These skills must be verified before being allowed to begin the in-person coursework. If you fail these skills you will have the choice to attend the next scheduled lifeguard class, or continue the course as a shallow water lifeguard candidate- this cert would allow you to guard pools up to 5ft deep.

Parent's Night Out

Drop the kids off at the pool so you can enjoy adult time! We will play in the pool, eat pizza, do crafts, play games and watch a movie!

ARC Babysitting

To provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid

Log Rolling

Come try out Logrolling! Learn how to logroll with certified logrolling trainers. Open to anyone ages 6-99. Fun for the whole family!

Unwind Wednesdays

See you next year in 2023, for Unwind Wednesday in Cherokee Veterans Park. No need to cook dinner instead come hang out with us for a fun and relaxing night with food trucks, vendors and music! Unwind with family and friends at the park happens on the first Wednesday of the month from April to October. Cherokee Veterans Park is a 149-acre park with a state-of-the-art playground, skate park, tennis courts, pavilions, veterans' memorial site, community garden and paved walking paths perfect for walking. Special monthly activities might include axe throwing, bounce houses, cornhole tournaments, trivia, archery, and more.
