Put on your swimsuit, lather on the sunscreen, and grab your towel! We are heading to various water activities throughout the week. This includes hours of supervised fun with friends, transportation to and from all trips as well as various lunches included on certain trips. Great water-based field trips daily!

Power up your engineering skills with Play-Well TEKnologies and tens of thousands of LEGO parts. Apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through engineer-designed projects such as airboats, and double-decker bus rides through London, Minecart, & Nether Portal. Participants will design and build as never before while exploring their craziest ideas.
All Lego Camp sessions will be held at the Bridgemill Fire Station Community Room, 9550 Bells Ferry Road, Canton, GA 30114.
Drop-off is located inside the community room.

Learn the closely guarded secrets of magic performances from one of Atlanta's best magicians; Jeffrey Williams, "THE GREAT IMPO." In this amazing class you will learn to make objects vanish in mid-air and reappear again in a different location, read a spectator's thoughts, predict future events, and many more miraculous feats of magic! Students will gain valuable social skills and develop the confidence to perform in front of a group of their peers. At the end of the week-long camp, there will be a special Magic Show where the entire family is invited to see the students perform their favorite tricks they have learned. All of the materials are included in the price, and the students make a special magic box that they can store their magic in and take home at the end of camp.

This 5-day coed youth camp will teach Olympic-style rowing, Participants will spend time on rowing machines and in boats, practicing the rowing stroke and learning the details of how to move a rowing shell (boat) effectively. By the end of camp, participants will know the basics of rowing. All participants must be competent swimmers with the ability to remain afloat for 15 minutes, swim 50 feet, and put on a live vest. The first day of camp (Monday), will be held at Strive Health and Fitness on Towne Lake Parkway. The remaining four days of camp will be held on Lake Allatoona.

The remainder of the sessions will be held in the Rowing Park within Cherokee Mills Park, located at 6900 Bells Ferry Road, Woodstock Ga. The entrance to the Rowing Park is a gated driveway located on Bells Ferry Road, approximately 50ft south of the entrance to the boat ramp parking lot. To reach the Rowing Park, continue driving down the driveway, through the woods, and to the waterfront.

Students will be guided through completing one game each day of camp and will be shown how to share their games on the Scratch website. |
Basics of Project Programming | June 12-16 | 9A-3P | 11-14 | $200 | This camp goes beyond simple 1-day games and has participants ages 11-14 developing a game that is uniquely theirs over the course of the whole week. Students use the 8-bit fantasy console PICO-8 to generate their own graphics and sound assets while also learning to write code in the popular Lua scripting language. On the final day, students publish their games online to Lexaloffle where they can be played worldwide and receive genuine feedback from the PICO-8 community. |
